About Mental Health In Naperville

Research has proven that therapy is often an effective approach in treating emotional and behavioral problems.  In fact, research shows that these techniques can be as effective as anti-depressant medication for anxiety and depression as long as the symptoms are not severe.  The interactive process of therapy leads to self-discovery, helps you adopt positive coping skills, and develop new ways of addressing current problems in a non-threatening environment.

Borrowing techniques from Cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), Dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), we focus on changing how you think, trying out new approaches, and altering aspects of your life that contribute to problems.

We value the depth and range in expertise among our clinicians who have specialties in depression and anxiety disorders, Bipolar Disorder, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), Panic Disorder, grief and loss, relationship issues, divorce, substance abuse, oppositional and defiant behaviors in children, and Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).

We want to fully understand your experience so we can help you develop the tools to live a more fulfilling life. We are honored to be part of your process.
