Therapy is quite the puzzle – and it is not always easy to find the piece you are looking for. I believe therapy is a place where a person can navigate personal struggles and goals in a welcoming and supportive space. I strive to provide a calm, solution-focused atmosphere, and will meet you where you are at in your journey. My passion is working with adolescents and young adults navigating anxiety, depression, emotion regulation, self-harm, suicidal ideation, ADHD, school struggles, effects of trauma, addictive mindset, and life transitions.
My therapeutic approach encompasses strategies found in DBT, CBT, and ACT. These approaches will be utilized to provide a balance between exploring patterns that impact current experiences as well as development of tools to assist with regulating and riding through the emotions experienced. I believe there are multiple facets of being human (physical, spiritual, emotional, mental) and will provide space in session for these areas to be explored based on your preference. Prior to providing services in this practice, I gained experience at Linden Oaks hospital inpatient and outpatient settings supporting adolescents and young adults through various struggles in their mental health journeys.
We are committed to creating an individualized treatment plan to get the results and symptom relief you need.
We strive for comprehensive care, so when indicated, referrals are made for adjunctive services to complete your care such as to the in-house dietician, or nearby psychiatrist or naturopathic physician.
We embrace the opportunity to participate in your journey to greater happiness and emotional wellness.
