I am a Licensed Clinical Professional, and a Certified Addictions and Drug Abuse Counselor. Prior to private practice I worked at Linden Oaks Hospital in an outpatient program for adults struggling with both mental health and addictions where I did individual and group therapy. I use evidence-based treatment models including CBT,DBT, ACT, and solution focused therapies in my counseling sessions to best fit the goals of each individual client.

I know that sometimes life presents difficult times that can challenge or paralyze even the strongest of individuals. It takes courage to reach out and seek help and support through counseling. As your therapist, my role is to nurture a trusting therapeutic relationship where together we can address your concerns, explore solutions, and ultimately successfully reach your goals. When appropriate, we will explore aspects of your past that may contribute to dysfunctional patterns or beliefs in your life today, and learn strategies to let go of these past limitations.

Every treatment plan and approach is individualized, and the pace of our sessions will be based on what is most comfortable for you. In working with you, my ultimate goal is to empower you to not only find solutions to current challenges but also to help prepare you to address future difficulties with renewed strength and confidence.
