Change is possible, but not easy, especially when life throws you those unexpected curveballs. I am here to support you along your journey.
I am a licensed clinical psychologist with over fourteen years of diverse, clinical experience who believes in the curative power of empathy, acceptance, and unconditional positive regard. Taking a personalized, client-centered approach, I will help you to better manage stress, depression, anxiety, mood instability, and relationship issues, by utilizing cognitive-behavioral (CBT), mindfulness meditation, motivational interviewing, and dialectical behavioral (DBT) therapeutic approaches. I truly believe that anything is possible, with the right support, encouragement, and motivation.
I obtained my Master’s of Arts in Clinical Psychology from Roosevelt University in 2009 and my doctorate in Clinical Forensic Psychology from the Chicago School of Professional in 2014. I have experience and interest in treating anxiety disorders, Post-traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), depression, mood disorders, and substance use disorders, and am particularly interested in Men’s issues, forensic psychology, and breaking the stigma commonly associated with mental health treatment. I recently obtained my Master’s of Clinical Psychopharmacology (MSCP) from New Mexico State University, and completed a fellowship program in clinical psychopharmacology through Alexian Brother’s Behavioral Health Hospital. As a result, I will become a prescribing psychologist in the near future. I look forward to meeting with you!
