CHILDREN, TEENS AND ADULTS, FAMILY DYNAMICS, ANXIETY & OCD, TRAUMA, NEURODIVERGENT POPULATIONS
I believe healing occurs when a person is allowed to share stories of their personal struggles in an accepting environment. I incorporate a variety of psychotherapy approaches with the particular client in mind. As a social worker, I am passionate about working with vulnerable populations, with a focus on children and young adults. My goal in therapy is to help each individual foster the necessary coping skills to aid in their journey. Prior to joining the Modify team, I worked in a trauma-based agency for victims of sexual abuse, focusing on the affects of abuse, anxiety, depression and disassociation. I have received additional training in crisis intervention and sexual assault. In addition, I have experience working with neurodivergent children and adults. I earned my social work degree from Aurora University with a concentration in forensic and child welfare. I am also fluent in Spanish!
