I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor. I recieved a Bachelor’s Degree in psychology from Loyola University and a Master’s Degree in counseling from Argosy University. My clinical experience includes working with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. I have worked in various settings such as inpatient, residential, community, mental health, and private practice.
I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Psychodynamic, and Client Centered approaches. I believe that creating a safe and non-judgmental environment is essential in order for healing to take place. It is important that clients have the freedom of self-expression and are not rushed through the therapeutic process. Working collaboratively, we will identify a framework that is validating and promotes growth. My approach is honest, empathetic, and relational in order to help clients gain self-awareness and explore how the past may contribute to current life struggles. By focusing on clients’ strengths and values I help them learn healthy ways to overcome challenges and empower them to make positive changes in their lives.
We are committed to creating an individualized treatment plan to get the results and symptom relief you need.
We strive for comprehensive care, so when indicated, referrals are made for adjunctive services to complete your care such as to the in-house dietician, or nearby psychiatrist or naturopathic physician.
We embrace the opportunity to participate in your journey to greater happiness and emotional wellness.
